Start-ups squeezed as suppliers rein in credit

Fledgling businesses and start-ups are being squeezed to the limit as suppliers further tighten their credit criteria, a leading credit management specialist has warned.

A poll of 400 companies by Graydon UK found that 56 per cent would become more picky about who they offer credit to during the rest of 2008.
