WPP puts its faith in ‘LUV’ recovery

WPP is counting on tough “LUV” to lead it out of the recession, the advertising group said on Friday, as it revealed declines in revenue only slightly worse than its French rival Publicis but ahead of the other global ad agencies.

Shares in WPP rose 4.3 per cent or 23½p to 568½p in early trading.
