Consort starts on £8m restructuring

Drug delivery group Consort Medical has embarked on an £8m restructuring plan to help it cope with increases in demand.

Consort makes breathing tubes and inhaler devices for asthma patients. It also manufactures face masks to deliver inhaled anaesthetic drugs. About one third of the 300m people in the world who have asthma use a Consort inhaler to deliver their medicine.
