The US on Thursday indicated it could take action against more Iranian banks after last week’s unprecedented exclusion of Bank Saderat from dollar denominated business.

Stuart Levey, the US under secretary for counter terrorism and financial intelligence, said he was using a trip to Europe and Asia to explain Washington’s move to other governments and leading bankers.
