Tesco Mobile warns regulator

Tesco Mobile, the supermarket group's successful mobile phone joint venture with O2, has warned it could be put out of business by the telecom regulator's plans to shake up the allocation of radio spectrum.

The joint venture has denounced as "regulatory diktat" Ofcom's plans to strip O2 and Vodafone, the leading UK mobile operators, of some of the most sought-after wireless spectrum.
