Grim prospects for dollar after dismal US jobs data

Dollar weakness is back at the top of the agenda of the world’s currency markets.

The New York Board of Trade’s widely watched dollar index fell to 79.78 on Monday, its lowest level for 15 years and only 2 per cent above the record trough it hit in September 1992.
