Howard Thomas is to quit Warwick Business School in the UK to become dean of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University. He will leave Warwick in January 2010 after nine years.

Prof Thomas will replace interim dean Lim Kian Guan, a Stanford-educated finance professor.
