EasyJet loses Gatwick fees case

EasyJet, the leading UK low-cost airline, has failed in its efforts to block a big increase in user charges at Gatwick airport.

The High Court on Friday rejected the airline’s case in a judicial review of the way the Civil Aviation Authority, the airports economic regulator, had approved the higher fees that can be levied by BAA, the UK airports operator, at Gatwick.
