DNO fears for Iraq drilling rights

DNO, the Norwegian oil producer, was on Tuesday battling to save its investment in Iraq after the Kurdish regional government threatened to terminate its licence to drill in the semi-autonomous region.

Kurdish authorities suspended DNO’s Iraqi operations for six weeks and warned the company it could be permanently expelled over a dispute sparked by the sale of shares in the Oslo-based company to a Turkish investor.
