Labour's online strategy failing to take off

Labour party plans to use the internet to mobilise voters could be heading for failure, research for the Financial Times has found.

Although the party has hired Zach Exley, online campaign director for the US presidential bids of Howard Dean and John Kerry, visits to the Labour website are well below visits to the Conservative site, daily monitoring of 8m internet users in the UK over the last three months shows.
