Mohabbat Khan points towards belongings scattered along the roadside near a slum on the outskirts of Islamabad and weeps over the turmoil brought about by the conflict in north-west Pakistan.
He counts himself among the “relatively few who are blessed to receive some basic supplies”. But Mr Khan, a refugee from the fighting in the northern Swat valley, laments the government’s failure to “provide the right kind of support”.
