Books of 2004: Brutal realism - Executive favourites

In his poem "A study of reading habits", poet and librarian Philip Larkin concludes that "books are a load of crap".

Very few of the business leaders contacted by the Financial Times in the last few weeks offered a similar view of recent management and business titles. But there was a striking lack of consensus about those books that might be considered must-read material for today's senior executives.
