Activist investors seize control of Eaglet

A consortium of activist shareholders including arbitrageur Laxey Partners has seized control of the board of Eaglet Investment Trust, a specialist fledgeling companies investor.

At an annual meeting on Tuesday, proposals to elect three directors endorsed by the group were narrowly passed, paving the way for an overhaul of its structure and strategy.
