Actions speak more truth than words

Will people stop lying to me? Everyone lies. Companies say they aren’t going bankrupt and then two weeks later they file for bankruptcy. Companies say no lay-offs are coming and a month later they lay off 500 people. Politicians say they won’t raise taxes and then they do. Abraham lied to his son Isaac when he said they were just going on a hunting trip and really he was planning to kill him.

New members of Alcoholics Anonymous are often told: “Fake it till you make it.” People have two natural instincts. One is to believe everything they hear. And the other is to lie with every word coming out of their mouths.
