PAI confident of strength as Monier slips away

The head of PAI Partners, France’s biggest private equity group, has told the Financial Times it is still on track to make a profit for investors.

Dominique Mégret, chief executive, was speaking as the group was thrust into the spotlight by its battle for control of Monier, the maker of roofing products, sparking rumours about the rest of its portfolio.
