Delphi receives more aid from GM

General Motors is again stepping up its support for Delphi, the beleagured car parts maker that is struggling to emerge from more than three years of bankruptcy protection.

Delphi said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday that GM, from which it was spun off in 1999 and which still contributes about half its revenues, will accelerate $100m in advances under previously agreed arrangements.
