Family advice firm determined to survive

Father and daughter financial advisers Barry Fleming and Lisa Chantrey belong to one of many small financial advice firms already taking steps to prepare themselves for the new regime.

Mr Fleming, 65, has more than 30 years’ experience and plenty of qualifications. But in order to advise after 2013, he will have to take new exams.
