Kazakh Kim plays for a laugh

Vladimir Kim was quite a showman for his fans at the Kazakhmys annual meeting at Claridge's yesterday, displaying the exuberant personality to be expected from a mining billionaire.

Watched over by Mrs Kim, clad in a long leather coat, the heavily Russian-accented executive chairman of Korean descent delivered an enthusiastic address to his shareholders whom he dedicated himself to pleasing.
