Clinton lavishes praise on Blair and Brown

Bill Clinton on Wednesday praised Labour’s record in government, paying special tribute to both Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.

In an address to the Labour party conference in Manchester, the former US president said: “The test of progressive change is whether it works…..to lift lives, to strengthen the nation, brighten children’s future, advance the world in peace and progress security and social justice.
