Countless television commercials claim to have furniture to make you feel as though you are “floating on air” but on one British-designed piece, you really are.

Hoverit has developed a levitating chaise called “The Lounger” that uses the repelling force of magnets in the top of the base and in the bottom of the bed to allow it to hover in mid-air. There are two guide lines on either side, presumably so that it won’t float away.
