Valeo executive quits after 3-year battle with Pardus

Thierry Morin, the executive chairman of Valeo, who has spent three years battling with one of his biggest shareholders, has left the car equipment group following a disagreement with his board.

Mr Morin was told last week of the board's decision to replace him as chief executive with Jacques Aschenbroich, former Saint Gobain deputy chief executive, after weeks of strategic dispute.
