European bourses ended in the red for the third consecutive week as investors waited for second-quarter results to guide the market.
Trading volumes were low with US markets closed for Independence Day, and the FTSE Eurofirst 300 fell 0.1 per cent to 842.52, down 0.3 per cent over the week. Germany's Xetra Dax fell 1.4 per cent to 4,708.2 and France's CAC 40 lost 0.3 per cent to 3,119.5.
