AOL withdraws $900m offer for TradeDoubler

Time Warner's AOL internet division has withdrawn its $900m offer for Swedish internet advertising group TradeDoubler after a decision not to increase the value of the bid.

AOL made the recommended offer of SKr215 per share in January with the backing of around 20 per cent of Trade-Doubler's shareholders. But since then a number of Swedish institutions have demanded a higher offer.
