Alcatel-Lucent was among the worst performers on Friday as European bourses headed lower for the week.

The French telecom equipment maker lost 10.6 per cent to €2.57 after posting an adjusted operating loss of €11m for the third quarter, its 12th consecutive net quarterly loss.
