Kesa Electricals saw robust trading in the year to April – but a collapse in sales in Spain and competing demand for the electrical goods retailer’s cash has sparked a sharp fall in its share price.
On a pro-forma basis, pre-tax profits in the 12 months to April 30 were £128.8m, up from £126.5m on sales that rose 14 per cent to £4.5bn.
