Sir Win BischoffOne leading candidate to succeed Sir Victor Blank as Lloyds’ chairman is Sir Win Bischoff, former chairman of Citigroup, the US bank.

Sir Win, pictured right, who previously headed Schroders, negotiated the sale of the UK investment firm to Citigroup in 2000.
