McCain campaign closes in Arizona rally

It was already two hours into election day on the east coast when John McCain arrived in Prescott, Arizona, for a midnight rally, drawing a close to his presidential campaign in the state where his political career began.

Mr McCain addressed several thousand supporters on the steps of the historic Yavapai County Courthouse – where he has ended every one of his political campaigns – after a marathon cross-country tour on the eve of polling.
