DLF, the Indian real estate company, staged a firm trading debut in Mumbai on July 5, underscoring investors’ eagerness to buy exposure to what is still an under-represented sector on the country’s bourses.
Shares in DLF, which raised $2.25bn in India’s largest initial public offering last month, rose 8.6 per cent above their issue price of Rs525 in an otherwise flat market.
