Brussels antitrust regulators raid Intel offices

Competition regulators raided the offices of Intel and top European electronics retailers yesterday, in a sign that the antitrust probe against the world's largest chipmaker is expanding.

European Commission officials visited Intel's Munich offices and a number of personal computer retailers, including Media Markt, Europe's biggest electronic chain, and DSG International, its second biggest, operator of PC World in the UK.
