Embassy families leave as Iran rift grows

Britain on Monday evacuated the families of all UK embassy staff from Tehran, as the diplomatic spat between the two countries over the disputed presidential election worsened.

Britain also changed its official travel advice for all UK citizens planning to travel to Iran, warning them not to visit the country unless it was absolutely essential.
