Pace of eurozone recovery slows

Eurozone economic confidence has rebounded to levels last seen a year ago – but the recovery shows further signs of losing momentum with important differences emerging among its 16 member states.

The European Commission said its “economic sentiment” indicator had risen from 80.8 in August to 82.8 this month – the highest since last September, when Lehman Brothers collapsed in the US.
