EdF chief unveils strategy with focus on Europe

Pierre Gadonneix, chairman of Electricité de France, on Tuesday set his sights on a European strategy for the debt-laden group, even though this will incur financial commitments of up to €56bn over three years.

"We are at an historic moment in the development of EdF," he told the FT in his first interview since taking the helm of Europe's largest electricity group three months ago.
