Revenue falls sharply at Toll Brothers

Toll Brothers, the leading US luxury homebuilder, on Tuesday reported a sharp fall in revenue in its second quarter amid a weak spring that saw buyers pulling out of purchasing top-priced homes.

Toll’s second-quarter home building revenue fell 30 per cent from $1.17bn last year to $818m, although it beat analysts expectations of sales of $741m.
