Walker against re-engineering bank boards

Sir David Walker, who is carrying out a review of corporate governance for the Treasury, has rejected the idea of compelling banks to put more women on their boards.

Sir David, who will issue his final report within a month, said he was not in favour of re-engineering City boardrooms to have more female directors.
