Drought-resistant crops: Big companies dig in for solution that works

Global warming is expected to have a significant impact on water supplies around the world in the future. The increase in heat waves and drought has left farmers increasingly at risk of losing crop yield.

Australia is a good example of this phenomenon. It has been suffering from such severe conditions that scientists are calling it a “one in a thousand years drought”.
