Not content with mere PBR, the Financial Services Authority has unveiled MPBR, for "more principles-based regulation". In years ahead, no doubt we'll see YMPBR, for yet more, etc.

Mudlark understands, though, that the "more" is actually a restrictive modifier, i. e. regulation is more principles-based than before, but not entirely principles-based, as some might have inferred.
