Deals on Servier patent probed

The European Commission is investigating patent settlements around Servier’s blood pressure medicine Perindopril as part of its probe into suspected anti-competitive practices launched last week.

Raids by officials from the European Union’s competition directorate at offices of the drug manufacturers Servier, Teva and Krka point to intellectual property disputes linking the three.
