Tristel cleans up in hospitals

Growing concern over hospital-acquired infections boosted Tristel, the maker of sterilisation and disinfection products, with gross margins increasing after the company brought all of its manufacturing in-house last year.

Pre-tax profits for the year to June jumped 55 per cent to £1.2m on revenue up 16 per cent to £6m.
