Fly-fishing for monsters in New York harbour

We were out early on the cold, cruel water, far earlier than should be asked of any sane person. But fish, I’m told, rise at unheard of hours, so here we were, prowling lower New York Harbour at dawn, the ocean lashing our chapped faces, in single-minded pursuit of the monstrous striped bass and bluefish that call these waters home.
