Most Asia-Pacific markets rose for the second session in a row on Thursday, although gains were more subdued than the previous day.

The MSCI Asia-Pacific Index had gained 1.2 per cent to 144.78 by mid-afternoon in Tokyo, adding to Wednesday’s 3.2 per cent jump.
