Babson College, widely regarded as one of the leaders in teaching entrepreneurship in the US, has joined up with EM Lyon Business School, in France, and tax specialists KPMG to organise the World Entrepreneurship Forum. The three-day annual forum, which was founded by EM Lyon, is intended to become a worldwide think-tank dedicated to entrepreneurs and their role in society.

This year’s inaugural forum will take place in November in Evian - famous for its spring water - under the patronage of French president Nicolas Sarkozy. Discussions at the forum will be held in private sessions, based on two preparatory pieces of work: the first, research compiled by a steering group of eight researchers; and the second recommendations from the junior version of the World Entrepreneurship Forum which was held in Shanghai in July and organised by EM Lyon students.
