Nordic nations top survey of growth prospects

Four Nordic nations are placed in the top six for growth prospects, along with the US and Taiwan, in a survey of 101 countries in the World Economic Forum's annual review of global competitiveness.

Finland is ranked first, followed by the US, Sweden, Taiwan, Denmark and Norway. The strong performance of the Nordic nations is attributed to strong macroeconomic management, good legal environments, quick adoption of technology in the private sector and innovation.
