Overview: Risk-takers reap benefits of G20 sentiment

There was much for risk-taking investors to be optimistic about this week and they pushed equity, commodity and emerging markets higher.

Signs that the US economy might be bottoming out, positive sentiment surrounding London’s G20 meeting and more lenient US accounting rules for toxic assets all helped improve the mood in global stock markets.
