Honduras protests continue despite shootings

“How can they let this happen? He was a boy, just a boy,” Jamie Rivas, a young woman with bloodshot eyes asked between sobs.

Ms Rivas was in a crowd of people gathered at the bloodstained site at Tegucigalpa’s international airport where Honduran soldiers shot a young man after largely peaceful demonstrations. “We came here to ask for freedom and look what they have done,” she said.
