Tanker strikers threaten to repeat action

Striking fuel tanker drivers supplying Shell garages are threatening to stage a ­second stoppage next weekend in an effort to force the oil group to intervene in an increasingly bitter pay ­dispute.

The 640 drivers picketed Shell oil terminals across the country from dawn on Friday at the start of their four-day action in support of a 13 per cent pay claim.
