NetSuite, which sells on-demand business software, has appointed Catherine Kinney, former New York Stock Exchange president, to its board.

Mrs Kinney served as NYSE president and co-chief operating officer from 2002 to 2007 and then as group executive vice-president and head of global listings at NYSE Euronext, from which she has just retired.
