TCS quarterly profit growth slowing

Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest software outsourcing group, reported slower profit growth in the fourth quarter as the global economic crisis weighed on the sector.

Net profit for the fourth quarter of TCS’s financial year rose 4.7 per cent to Rs13.1bn ($261m), below the average forecast in a Bloomberg analyst survey of Rs13.3bn.
