When the next Super Bowl season kicks off, many of those sitting in the stadium will have arrived by private jet – and so will the owner of the company that has secured their tickets. For Michael Shinefield, managing partner of Got The Ticket, a ticket broker, travel company and event organiser, jet travel is not only essential to getting his clients around – it is a mode of travel he has come to value highly himself.

Based in Las Vegas, Mr Shinefield started his company as a ticket broker for concerts and other big events. Today Got The Ticket encompasses Gottheticket.com, and the business is expanding to include comprehensive packages, including event tickets, air travel, hotels and other services. “It’s somewhere between a ticket broker and a high-end VIP concierge,” he says.
