Sir, Your front-page story “City minister to extend welcome to Chinese sovereign wealth fund” (December 5) made several points about China’s new sovereign wealth fund, the China Investment Corporation. It failed, however, to mention a key fact: that CIC chairman Lou Jiwei’s first overseas visit will be to London – and not to New York or another financial centre.
