Sir, Europe's elected politicians and bureaucrats would do well to reflect on the FT's news coverage of the European Union this week. A few minutes of reflection might well provide an indication of why the EU finds itself facing a potentially serious crisis, in particular over the upcoming referendums on the EU constitution.
